PURPOSE: To obtain a probe designed specially for testing a right cylinder which has a limited vertical clearance from a viewpoint of requiring non-destructive inspection with overflown water. CONSTITUTION: A probe contains a main body of the entire disk shape having a small vertical dimension and a slightly smaller radius than that of a right cylinder to be inspected. Five questioning audio transducers 110, 111, 112, 114, 115 are arranged in the margin of the main body. These transducers are distant from a place in a circumferential direction which has been beforehand selected and arranged alternately for the right cylinder so as to inspect the water- overflown cylinder with reflected radiant lights. The respective transducers are arranged towards a specific angle and a spacial direction with respect to a predetermined inspection point so as to question by audio in all respects on an optical specific radius of the right cylinder, so that Snell laws of refraction are satisfied for a diameter of the right cylinder to be inspected. |
