PURPOSE:To attain highly reliable diagnosis by previously preparing plural gradation conversion tables (LUTs) in an LUT memory, selecting one of the plural LUTs based upon an LUT selecting command signal and sending the selected signal to a gradation conversion part. CONSTITUTION:A display image memory 4 temporarily stores a medical radiation image sent from an image storing part 1. A gradation converter 5 executes the gradation conversion of the medical radiation image sent from the memory 4 based upon the LUT and temporarily stores LUT data sent from an LUT selection part 9. A display part 6 constituted of a liquid crystal display, a plasma display, or the like displays an image sent from the conversion part 5. The image data stored in the memory 4 are repeatedly transferred to the display part 6 through the conversion part 5 while always being synchronized with the display part 6 and the conversion part 5. Consequently an image processed by different gradation processing can be instantaneously obtained only by switching LUT data in the conversion part 5. |
