The subject of the present invention is an articulation device for tilting a chamber (1), including two opposite journals (3) fastened on each side of the chamber (1) and each intended to interact with a sling (2) of a system for lifting the said chamber, each sling (2) being provided with a ring in which the corresponding journal penetrates. Each journal (3) is equipped with a ring, the outer surface of which forms, with the inner surface of the ring of the sling (2), a wear zone. The present invention applies to the repair of journals (3) of a ladle for casting liquid metal. <IMAGE>
