PURPOSE:To obtain a flame-retarding resin composition which can keep good contact point characteristics of an electrical component stably for a long time by mixing a polybutylene resin with a specified halogenated phenoxy compound, an antimony compound, a fatty acid ester of a polyalcohol and an inorganic filler. CONSTITUTION:This composition comprises 100 pts.wt. polybutylene terephthalate resin of an intrinsic viscosity of 0.75-1.5dl/g, 1-50 pts.wt. halogenated phenoxy compound comprising repeating units of the formula (wherein X is Br or Cl; and Y is 1-10C alkylene, alkylidene, cycloalkane, carbonyl,-0-,-S- or-SO2-) and having a number-average degree of polymerization of 6-30, 0.1-30 pts.wt. antimony compound comprising antimony pentoxide and an alkali metal oxide, 0.01-10 pts.wt. fatty acid ester compound of a polyalcohol and 0-150 pts.wt. inorganic filler. |
