<p>PURPOSE:To improve the driver protecting performance of an air bag in collision, as for the steering structure of an automobile which is equipped with the air bag. CONSTITUTION:An air bag module 6 is arranged in the upper part of the wheel hub 3 of a steering device, and the brittle part such as the nottch part 5a is formed on a lower side spoke 2c among three spokes 2a-2c which support a steering wheel 1, and the lower half part of the steering wheel 1 is bent downward in the case of the collision of a vehicle when the inertial load acts, and the interference between the breast part side of a driver and the lower edge part of the steering wheel 1 is prevented.</p> |
