PURPOSE:To enable data to be printed with high print quality by pressing a thermal head printing head to a specified position on a platen roller with a constant force. CONSTITUTION:A positioning part 108 with a recessed groove 111 which can be fitted into the center shaft 15a of a platen roller 15 is fixed to the lateral surface of a printing head 101. The center groove 15a is allowed into the recessed groove 111 when an upper and a lower frame 11, 12 are closed together, and the heating part of the printing head 101 is matched to a specified position on the platen roller 15. In addition, a spring member 103 is set between the upper frame 12 and the printing head 101. If the upper and lower frames 11, 12 are closed together, the printing head 101 is pressed to the platen roller 15 by the elastic force of the spring member 103. |
