REINFORCED PLASTICS PRODUCTION METHOD

The process comprises successive deposition of layers of methyl methacrylate based thermoplastics soln., and twisted textured polyester cloth (35-45 and 65-55 per cent by weight respectively). Polymerisation at 15-30 kgf/cm2 at 20-50 deg.C. is accomplished in 2-4 hours. The prod. is used in aircraft construction, to form the cupola and frame assembly without the need for a shockproofing layer.
