PURPOSE:To improve non-transparent property without reducing high thermal conductivity by adding specific element to a mixture of Al2O3 and carbon, pelletizing, drying, synthesizing at high temperature in nitrogen atmosphere and removing carbon with heating. CONSTITUTION:An element selected from IVa, Va, VIa and VIII groups in an amount of 0.1-1.0wt.% to AlN is added to a mixture of Al2O3 and carbon in a molar ratio of 1:4-1:6 and mixed in an organic solvent, then pelletized, dried and subjected to high-temperature synthesis at 1500-1800 deg.C in an atmosphere of nitrogen to obtain synthesized product. Next, said synthesized product is heated in an atmospheric air to remove carbon. |
