UNDERSATURATED POLYESTER RESINS WITH IMPROVED CURING

The unsaturated polyester resins are on a basis of α,β-unsaturated dicarboxylic acids and their functional derivatives, aromatic and/or aliphatic and/or cycloaliphatic mono- and/or polycarboxylic acids and hydroxylic compounds with 1 to 4 hydroxylic groups, possibly dissolved in unsaturated polymerizable monomers. In the molecule these resins contain enough chemically bound structures of general formula I for the content of nitrogen to be 0.001 to 5 % by weight related to polyester. In general formula I R1 represents - CH2CH(OH)CH2-, R2 = R1 alkyl, aryl and R3 = H, alkyl, halogen, -N(R2)2 or -CH2 - pk - N(R2)2, where ph = phenylene and group -N(R2)2 is in the p-position.<IMAGE>
