Method for marking fruits

A method for marking fruits, in particular apples, is proposed, with which the colouring of the surface structure of the fruit itself is changed. Towards the end of the growth period, a sticker, which is opaque at least in places, is applied to the fruit surface and this is as a result shaded in places. The sticker is removed again at the latest before sale.
