PURPOSE:To remove the deviation from roundness and to improve the quality by providing an arcuate shallow groove on the outside surface of a vertical part of a sea plate lug piece, pressing the vertical part of the lug piece and fixing it in the fitting groove of an outer ring. CONSTITUTION:The lug piece 1 composed of a vertical part 1a and a horizontal part 1b and having an arcuate shallow groove 4 on the outside surface of the intermediate part of the vertical part 1a and a section similar to an L-shape is provided on the external circumferential surface of the main body 5 of the steel seal plate A. The fitting groove 3 composed of a horizontal part 3a, a circular arc part 3b and an oblique part 3c and having a section shape near a horizontal U-shape or a horizontal V-shape is provided on the internal circumferential surface at the end part of a bearing outer ring C. The horizontal part 1b of the lug piece 1 is mounted on the horizontal part 3a of this fitting groove 3, the vertical part 1a of the lug piece 1 is pressed by a press die downward to touch the upper end of the vertical part 1a to the side of the horizontal part 1b. The vertical part 1a of the lug piece 1 is curled along the fitting groove 3. The seal plate A is fixed by an elastic force of the curled lug piece 1 firmly into the fitting groove 3. |
