A piston 18 is slidable within a cylinder 13 mounted coaxially between the inlet 11 and outlet 12 and is connected by a hollow shaft 17 to a valve member 16 of the same diameter as the piston. The pressure in chamber 20 is always the same as the inlet while that on the opposite side of the piston is regulated by relief valve 27. Piston 18 has a restriction 26 therethrough and is biased to the right by spring 23. In another embodiment the restriction 26 is dispensed with and the relief valve 27 is replaced by adiaphragmoperated valve connected to the inlet.</p> |
