The device includes a spindle 11 carrying the reel 33 on which the strip 31 is wound, two small rolls 7 and 7a for guiding the strip, bringing it to the station 40 for preparing the strip with a view to depositing it onto the packaging film (sheet) 50 running through the packaging machine 51. The spindle 11 is fitted with a braking device enabling the speed with which the strip is unwound to be adjusted to the running speed of the film (sheet) 50. The tension in the strip is controlled by a link rod 20 which is mounted so as to swing on a pin 22 and the free end of which carries the small guide roller 7, the link rod being held by an adjustable spring 30 mounted on a rod 25 connecting the lower part of the link rod 20 to the frame 1 of the device. The device enables a tear strip to be deposited on a packaging film (sheet) running through a machine which does not have a built-in deposition device. <IMAGE> |
