Method for the bioconversion of lignin/sulphur compounds such as lignosulphonic acids, lignin sulphonates or the like, into humic-acid-like compounds. The last-mentioned compounds can be employed particularly advantageously in the field of soil conditioning, but, owing to the high proportion of aromatic raw materials, may also be employed as feed additives. In the present method, the lignin/sulphur compounds are desulphurized anaerobically in an approximately neutral environment and, after the addition of nitrogen and/or phosphorus, converted aerobically to give the humic-acid-like compounds, while avoiding letting the carbon-nitrogen ratio drop below 25 during the course of the process. |
