PURPOSE:To prevent a core material from being rubbed by a metal fitting, attached to a bent part by a method wherein a tire is vulcanized so that a rubber layer having a necessary thickness remains on the inside of the tape core material at the bent part after vulcanizing molding. CONSTITUTION:In a relation between the braided and reticulated passage 34 of a preliminary molding tool (a1) and the molding reticulated passage 42 of a vulcanizing press mold (a2), the retaining part corresponding part 101 of the braided and reticulated passage 34 is formed so as to be properly larger than the retaining part corresponding part 103 of the molding reticulated passage 42. According to this method, the core material in a tape material, forming the bent part of a retaining part 2' arranged at the outside of a central axial line of the bent part in the retaining part corresponding part 103 of the vulcanizing press mold (a2), is covered by a rubber layer having a necessary and uniform thickness under a condition that the core material is pulled inwardly and is deviated to the position of the central axial line of the bent part in the retaining part corresponding part when the core material in the tape material 1 is shrinked by heat upon vulcanizing molding in vulcanizing and finishing molding process. Accordingly, the core material at the bent part in the retaining part 2, will never be rubbed and cut by a metal fitting, attached to the bent part, when the tire is in use. |
