摘要 The invention relates to an arrangement for converting the linear piston movement of an engine into the rotational movement of a drive shaft, the piston centre line running in the same direction as the axis of the drive shaft, and the piston output interacting with a self-contained cam path, assigned to the drive shaft and causing this to rotate. According to the invention, it is proposed that the cam path be arranged as groove (10) in or as disc (4) on the circumference of the drive shaft (2, 3) of one-piece design, and be so designed that, when developed, it forms a sinusoidal curve, that for the piston rod (9) of each piston a linear guide (7a, 7b, 8a, 8b; 15) be provided, which produces a piston rod movement in the direction of the piston axis, and that at least one pair of two cylindrical rollers (5, 6) be supported on each piston rod (9), the axes of which rollers run perpendicular to the axis of the drive shaft (2, 3) and the distance of which from one another is dimensioned so that they bear on the inner surfaces of the groove (10) or on the outer surfaces of the disc (4). In a preferred exemplary embodiment, the cam path when developed forms four complete sinusoidal oscillations, one piston being arranged coaxially with the drive shaft in front of its one end and the piston rod driving four pairs of rollers, which are uniformly distributed over the circumference of the drive shaft. <IMAGE>
