PURPOSE:To enable exact sensing of a rise action of pantograph by forming an optical loop whose reflective surface is a rotating shaft causing said pantograph to rise and fall. CONSTITUTION:When a pantograph 1 is lowered, the light from a light emitting diode 17a within a rise sensor 17 is guided through optical cable 15a, collimator 16a, surface of main shaft A with low reflectance, collimator 16b and optical cable 15b and an incident light to a photosensor 17b is in dark state. On the other hand, if a frame 5 of said pantograph 1 rises by a turning force of main shafts A, B, a reflector piece 14 turns with turning of the main shaft A and reflected light from the collimator 16a comes to be reflected by a reflector piece 14 with high reflectance. Accordingly, said incident light to the photosensor 17b shifts from dark state to light state.
