PURPOSE:To improve lubricity and wear resistance and to improve durability by depositing a fluorine lubricating agent via a silane coupling agent which is first deposited on the surface of a magnetic layer on said surface thereby depositing and forming securely two lubricant layers having excellent lubricity on the surface of the magnetic layer. CONSTITUTION:A fluorine lubricating agent is deposited via a silane coupling agent on a magnetic layer on a base plate. The silane coupling agent is dissolved in a suitable solvent such as methyl alcophol, and the magnetic layer is immersed in the soln. or the soln. is coated or sprayed on the surface of the magnetic layer, on which a soln. prepd. by dissolving a fluorine lubricating agent in a suitable solvent such as freon is coated. If the coating is subjected to a heat treatment, for example, for 0.5hr at 70 deg.C, the silane coupling agent is more securely deposited on the surface of the magnetic layer, by which durability and corrosion resistance are additionally improved. Such silane coupling agent is deposited preferably within a range of 0.1-25mg/m<2> and the fluorine lubricating agent within a range of 0.1-50mg/m<2>. |
