<p>PURPOSE:To improve a vehicle performance in a steep slope section by controlling a linear motor by selecting control patterns being optimum for reaction plates which are provided along tracks discriminated automatically on a vehicle and are formed of different kinds of materials. CONSTITUTION:Input currents Ia to Id for linear motors 5a to 5d driven by an inverter 4 are always monitored by CT 13a to 13d and inputted to a current pattern comparing circuit 14. An axle speed signal and a gap sensor signal of the linear motor are also inputted to the comparing circuit 14 and compared with current patterns stored beforehand, so as to determine whether a reaction plate which the linear motors 5a to 5d face is formed of copper or aluminum, and the result is inputted to a slip frequency fs pattern selecting circuit. Slip frequency fs patterns for the copper and the aluminum corrected by a variable load are inputted to the selecting circuit 15 and a slip frequency fs corresponding to the material is selected and subjected to addition-subtraction 16 to and from an axle frequency speed fr. According to this constitution, running characteristics are improved by using a copper plate for a steep slope section.</p> |
