PURPOSE:To prevent processing liquid from flowing out unnecessarily when the processing liquid flows in or out of a processing tank by using a transparent member for at least a part of an auxiliary tank system which includes the auxiliary tank and a pipe linking the auxiliary tank with the processing tank, and allowing the liquid level in the processing tank to be seen. CONSTITUTION:Marks U1-U5 which display the height of the liquid level are added on transparent front plates of respective processing tanks 481-485 of the auxiliary tank 480 and marks indicating lower liquid level height are added on transparent wall surfaces of respective opening pipes 481A-485A. When the auxiliary tank 480 is rotated and stopped at a low position for the internal inspection, repair, etc., of the processing device, the bleaching and fixing liquid BF in a bleaching and fixing tank 430 flows in the auxiliary tank 483 through a pipe 433, a tube 485C, and the opening pipe 483A and the liquid level of the bleaching and fixing liquid falls. When the auxiliary tank 480 is stopped at the lowest position, the liquid level U3 of the processing liquid becomes as high as the liquid levels in the processing tanks 410-450 and the liquid level position can be confirmed by viewing the processing liquid level in the front transparent plate of the auxiliary tank 480.
