PURPOSE:To make high-quality transmission without making the carrier level higher, by obtaining a demodulated output by taking the sum of the outputs of three amplifiers and detection output and removing the distortion produced in a demodulator section. CONSTITUTION:A detection signal inputted to a signal input terminal is divided into five parts and respectively inputted to a Hilbert converter 2, multiplier 3, adder 5, multiplier 8, and multiplier 9. The output of the Hilbert converter 2 is divided into two parts and respectively inputted to the multiplier 3 and another multiplier 6 and the output of the multiplier 3 is led to the adder 5 after its amplitude is multiplied by -1. The output of the multiplier 6 is inputted to the adder after passing through an amplifier 7 having a gain of 1/2. At the multiplier 8 detection output signals are multiplied by each other and its output is inputted to the multiplier 9. The output of the multiplier 9 is inputted to the adder through an amplifier 10 having a gain of -1/6. The adder 5 takes the sum of the detection output signal and the outputs of the amplifiers 4, 7, and 10 and a demodulated signal component is outputted to a signal output terminal 11.
