PURPOSE:To improve durability by supporting and fixing microorganisms or enzymes to the inside of a synthetic high-polymer carrier, molding the synthetic high-polymer carrier to a plate shape and disposing a plate-shaped body to be supported to both ends of said plate to the inside of the body. CONSTITUTION:The microorganisms or enzymes 2, 2' are supported and fixed to the inside of the synthetic high-polymer carrier 1. Such carrier 1 is molded to the plate shape. The plate-shaped body 3 which is supported by the carrier part 1A and consists of a non-woven fabric, etc., is disposed to the inside of the carrier 1 which constitutes a bioreactor element 4. The body 3 is so formed as to have the wide contact area with the carrier 1 and to have water permeability. As a result, the durability is improved and the bioreactor is usable as a stationary floor type bioreactor.
