METHOD FOR UTILIZING ADVANTAGEOUSLY THE WASTE HEAT OF FURNACE OF CONTINUOUS FEEDING

The invention relates to a method of utilising the waste heat of a baking oven with continuous charging and baking surfaces which move during the baking process, which is equipped with one or more smoke-gas heating systems and in which the baking space is heated indirectly by a smoke-gas circulating heating system and in which heat exchangers are arranged for obtaining secondary energy from the waste heat of the oven. The aim of the invention consists in the production of a method of utilising waste heat in ovens with relatively low smoke-gas temperatures. This is achieved by the secondary energy being obtained in two systems which are independent of one another. In the first system, hot water which is situated in the circuit is, by means of drawn off smoke gases, heated in a heat exchanger at a pressure which lies higher than the pressure of the hot water. The hot water thus heated expands in a following collecting container and the steam thus obtained is supplied to the oven for steam treatment. In the second system, fresh air, which is supplied to the oven for improving the baking atmosphere, is heated in a heat exchanger by means of drawn off baking atmosphere, and in a second heat exchanger the already precooled baking atmosphere is used for heating air or water to close to condensation of the water vapour contained therein.
