<p>PURPOSE:To enable the recovery of molybdenum from a molybdenum-containing solution efficiently and economically, by contacting the solution with a chelate resin having a specific functional group. CONSTITUTION:A molybdenum-containing solution is made to contact with a chelate resin having dithiodarboxylic acid group or amidoxime group. The resin having dithiocarboxylic acid group is e.g. (1) a styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer containing a halogenated alkyl group such as chloromethyl group, (2) a polymer of a vinyl cyanide monomer such as acrylonitrile, (3) a resin obtained by reacting carbon disulfide with a resin having primary or secondary amino group in the resin, etc. The resin having amidoxime group is e.g. (1) a resin obtained by reacting the above nitrile group-containing resin with hydroxylamine, etc., (2) a chelate resin obtained by the homopolymerization of a vinyl cyanide derivative or the copolymerization of the derivative with another copolymerizable ethylenic unsaturated monomer, etc.</p> |
