The appts. is used to leaf a book, especially a bandbook. It includes leafing rollers(52), a rotating shaft(1), and a motor (12). The rollers are connected directly or indirectly to the shaft of the motor. The roller comprises a main body part (32) which is partly sunken and a tooth part(31) that has material with a large friction coefficient. Leafing can be executed not only normally but also in reverse by the rollers.
