摘要

PURPOSE:To cut off a spreading of an ultrasonic vibration that is to be irradiated toward the front to a quadrature axis direction by putting an appropriate acoustic load on an electrostriction element on the one side of a metal block and a front plate by making it to a long square pillar shaped laterally and piercing an through hole in an orthogonal direction with a long axis to a front plate. CONSTITUTION:By excavating a recessed bearing surface 22 which keeps the upper portion of a stacking that consists of an electrostriction element 1 and another side of a metal block 3 that is a backing plate and the opposite parts 21 against the stacking of both sides of the front plate which has the height of an integral times of lambda/2 at a same surface perpendicular to a quadrature axis direction, and providing grooves 23 deeper than the recessed bearing surface 22 also perpendicular to the quadrature axis direction, an insulation between the electrostriction element 1 and opposite parts 21 against the both sides of the front plate is kept and also the spreading of the ultrasonic vibration to the quadrature axis direction is cut off.
