The essential part of a hand lever grease gun consists of a high pressure piston pump consisting of a pump cylinder (3) in which a pump piston (2) is slidable. The sealing takes place with the aid of O-rings (4). The material to be injected is forced out of the high pressure outlet opening (5). In the outlet opening (5) there is disposed a non-return valve (6). The material to be injected is sucked in via a low pressure suction opening (7). A reserve container (15) made of elastic, airtight material is detachably connected to the pump unit (1) via a connection (12) which contains a cylindrical connecting piece (13), with internal thread, and a sealing cone (14). The pump piston (2) is actuated with the aid of a movable hand lever (9) which is articulately connected to the pump unit (1) via a tension member (10). The movable hand lever (9) is mounted on a fixed handle (8). The hand lever (9) is forced back to its resting position by a return spring (11). <IMAGE>
