PURPOSE:To obtain the titled resin suitable for use in the production of a foam having a fine uniform cell structure and excellent surface smoothness, by incorporating an acrylic polymer later in a vinyl chloride resin latex for paste and drying the mixture. CONSTITUTION:An acrylic polymer latex composed of an acrylic polymer wholly or partially soluble in a plasticizer, is incorporated in a vinyl chloride resin latex for paste, and the mixture is dried. Pref. said latex contains 0.05-10wt% acrylic polymer and 90-99.95wt% vinyl chloride resin as its resin component. Examples of the acrylic polymers are (meth)acrylate homopolymer and copolymers such as polymers composed of 50-100wt% (meth)acrylate and 0-50wt% other copolymerizable vinyl monomer. |
