发明名称 HYDROGEN FLAME IONIZATION DETECTOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable measurement of the org. component in a measuring gas contg. the org. component by ionizing the measuring gas by the hydrogen flame in an electric field and measuring the ion current generated by the ionization. CONSTITUTION:The gaseous hydrogen and measuring gas supplied from a hydrogen pipe 3 and a measuring gas pipe 4 are joined in a passage 2 and the mixture thereof is injected and burned from the tip of a nozzle 5 to form a hydrogen flame 6. An electric field is impressed between the nozzle 5 which is a counter electrode and a collector electrode 7 from a voltage impressing source 8 in this stage. The org. component in the measuring gas is therefore ionized by the flame 6 to form electrified atoms or molecules and free electrons. The ion current is thus passed between the nozzle 5 and the electrode 7. The ion current is measured by a meter 10 and the quantity of the org. component, for example, hydrocarbon is measured.
