PURPOSE:To certainly cut-off gas when an earthquake, etc. occurs by releasing a fixed metal fitting by the shift of a weight and allowing a cutting-off spring to act. CONSTITUTION:When a movable weight 1 is moved by an earthquake, etc., a fixed metal fitting 2 is lowered by the force of a fixation releasing spring 7 and the fixation of a cam 3 is released. The cam 3 is revolved around a shaft 6 by the force of a cut-off spring 5, and an inlet or an outlet is shielded by a valve 11. When the apparatus is used again, a reset knob is turned, and a stop metal fitting 9 belonging to the fixed metal fitting 2 is pulled-up by the reset part 4 which is prevented from contacting with the fixed metal fitting 2 for the cam 3. Therefore, the weight 1 is lowered directly below by the gravity, and the fixed metal fitting 2 is held at an upper position. When the reset knob is released in this state, reset operation is completed. |
