PURPOSE:To aim at improvements in an outward show and in the cooling capacity of a generator, by setting the generator extendedly in the circumferential direction of a supporting wall part, while installing a generative cooling water jacket being interconnected to a cylinder block side water jacket. CONSTITUTION:A generator cooling water jacket 73 is interconnectedly formed in a circumferential direction inside a supporting wall part 71 which supports a built-in stator core 67 forming a generator 61, while a connection pipe 74 open to the lower part of the jacket 73 is projectingly installed in the supporting wall part 71, and connected to the discharge port of an unillustrated water pump through a pipe 76. The upper part of the water jacket 73 and the lower part of a first feed water port 81 are interconnected through a leading hole 83 piercing through a left wall part 42a. With suchlike constitution, length of the pipe 76 can be made into being very short, making a long pipe so far required unnecessary whereby an outward show is well improved and, what is better, the cooling capacity of the generator 61 comes very good, besides a distinct improvement in durability. |
