Agricultural appliance for the metered discharge of liquids, especially of liquid plant treatment agents and fertilisers or the like, consisting of a feed line connected to a pump driven by the take-off shaft of a traction vehicle, of a discharge line following the feed line and of a return line which likewise follows the feed line and is connected to the supply container and in which is arranged a pressure-control valve having a valve tappet which is displaceable and which can be fixed by means of an adjusting element in a position opening any desired throughflow cross-section, the valve tappet being held in position in the state of rest by a prestressed spring. To simplify the pressure-control valve substantially in terms of constructive design, the valve tappet (8) has a guide pin (10) which is mounted so as to be displaceable relative to the adjusting element (11) as a result of the compression of the spring (17), and the guide pin (10) has a bearing element (19) cooperating with the adjusting element (11). <IMAGE>
