This core puller assembly includes a bank of interconnected core puller units each having a cylinder, and a piston mounted within the cylinder and having a rearwardly extending connecting rod. Each core puller unit includes a core puller bar disposed in side-by-side relation below the cylinder and connected to the piston connecting rod for movement with said connecting rod. Each cylinder carries front and rear guide units receiving the core puller bar in sliding relation to guide the core puller bars into the mold assembly. The cylinders are operated by a pneumatic air supply which includes a surge tank and a control system for controlling the supply of pressurized air to the cylinders.
