摘要 The invention relates to an electronic power switch for current damping in two- and multiphase systems, using thyristor direct-current switches with quenching devices. To achieve short-circuit current damping and mains coupling, two antiparallel-connected direct-current switches are provided in at least n-1 phases, with quenching circuits directly above the main thyristors and current transformers for detecting the current in the correct phase. When maximum current values are reached, the quenching thyristor is fired via the current-conducting main thyristor, the quenching current for all main thyristors is interrupted and the main current is commutated to a resistor in parallel with the main thyristor. <IMAGE>
