PURPOSE:To reduce installation space effectively insulating sound by a method wherein a pair of thyristor element cooling units are provided opposing to respective cooling units while sound insulating walls are installed to cover the units. CONSTITUTION:A pair of thyristor element cooling units opposingly provided with respective blowers 301a, 301b are fitted with sound insulating walls 9a, 9b between respective upper tanks 1a, 1b and lower tanks 2a, 2b covering the sides of the blowers 301a, 301b. Consequently the space to install the pair of thyristor cooling units may be reduced effectively insulating the noise of said blowers 301a, 301b by means of said sound insulating walls 9a, 9b. |
