PURPOSE:To both suppress a cylinder to a less amount protruded to the upper of a machine body and contain a float to within a width of the machine body under a storage condition, by pivotally mounting the cylinder in a swingable state. CONSTITUTION:At the beginning of starting the housing of an overhung beam, a jack cylinder 5 is pulled to an internal side of the beam 3 by contraction of an overhanging cylinder 4, and the cylinder 5 is automatically swung and displaced from a vertical attitude to a titled housed attitude, hereafter housed of the beam 3 is started. Here a float 6 is placed in a condition closely contacted to the bottom surface of a fixed box 2 in a horizontal attitude. When the cylinder 5 is used and placed in a vertical attitude, the cylinder 5 is protruded to below the beam 3, and a required stroke of the cylinder for lifting a machine body is decreased to smaller stroke than of a conventional machine. |
