PURPOSE:To obtain a threaded cap that does not cause leaking by holding a cap formed by projecting a part of top of a can cylindrically with bisected outer dies and screwing a male screw of upper die into the inside of the cap. CONSTITUTION:A part of the top 32 off from the center of a metallic container is opened and the periphery is projected cylindrically as a cap part 34. The outside of the cap part 34 is held with bisected outer dies 9, 10 provided with female screw at the inside. An upper die 14 with male screw formed at the outside is screwed into the cap part 34 rotating the die spirally to form threads on the cap part 34. After forming an R-shaped bent part at the tip of the cap part 34 where no thread is formed, a lower die 28 is lowered, and the upper die 14 and outer dies 9, 10 are removed from the cap part 34. Thus, a threaded cap part 34 that does not cause leaking is formed directly on the projected opening of the metallic container. |
