PURPOSE:To permit the stored steam power generation system to be operated in high efficiency by arranging a mixed pressure turbine which is driven by the steam stored in an accumulator and feeding steam into the high-pressure stage in initial operation and feeding steam into the low-pressure stage when the steam pressure lowers below a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:When the demand for electric power increases in the daytime, a steam regulating valve 22 is controlled to open side by the opening signal (y) from a valve controller 28, keeping a steam regulating valve 24 in closed state. Therefore, the hot water stored in an accumulator 9 is decompressed by opening the steam regulating valve 22 and is evaporated itself to form steam, which passes through a check valve 23, and flows into the high-pressure stage of a mixed pressure turbine 20, which drives a power generator 14. The pressure of the steam which is generated in the accumulator 9 reduces gradually, and when the pressure lowers to a certain value, the steam regulating valve 24 is controlled to open side and the steam regulating valve 22 is closed. Therefore, the low-pressure steam flows into the low-pressure stage of the mixed pressure turbine 20, which drives the power generator 14, and steam is discharged into a condenser 15. |
