<p>PURPOSE:To improve the recovery ratio extremely, by controlling SO2 gas to be fed to a reducing column and SO2 gas bypassing the reducing column in such a way that the ratio of the flow rates of the two gases is made in a specific value, making the ratio of H2S exhausted from the reducing column to the SO2 gas bypassing the reducing column at a specific ratio, recovering S by Kraus reaction. CONSTITUTION:This is a method wherein oxides of hydrosulfuric acid is removed as SO2 gas from an adsorbed having adsorbed the oxides of sulfuric acid and S is recovered from the SO2 gas. The flow rate of SO2 gas is controlled in such a way that the ratio of the SO2 gas to be fed to the reducing column 2 of a sulfur recovery device to the SO2 gas bypassing the reducing column 2 through the bypassing pipe 7 is made approximately 2:1, and the ratio of H2S exhausted from the reducing column 2 through the pipe 8 to the bypassing SO2 gas is made approximately 2:1. The mixed gas of H2S and SO2 is introduced to the Kraus reactor 5, and S is recovered.</p> |
