<UnorderedLists id="ula01" listStyle="none"><ListItem>a is 1 to 3;</ListItem><ListItem>b is 0 to 2;</ListItem><ListItem>c is 2 to 4;</ListItem><ListItem>d is 1 to 5;</ListItem><ListItem>X is sulphur, oxygen or -CH<Sub>2</Sub>-;</ListItem><ListItem>Y is oxygen, sulphur, NR<Sub>4</Sub> or CHR<Sub>5</Sub> wherein R<Sub>4</Sub> is hydrogen, C<Sub>1-4</Sub> alkyl, NO<Sub>2</Sub> or CN, C<Sub>1-4</Sub> alkylsulphonyl or phenylsulphonyl optionally substituted in the phenyl moiety by one or two substituents selected from C<Sub>1-4</Sub> alkyl, C<Sub>1-4</Sub> alkoxy, fluorine, chlorine or bromine, and R<Sub>5</Sub> is N0<Sub>2</Sub>, C<Sub>1-4</Sub> alkylsulphonyl or optionally substituted phenylsulphonyl as defined for R<Sub>4</Sub>;</ListItem><ListItem>R<Sub>1</Sub> and R<Sub>2</Sub> are independently hydrogen, C<Sub>1-4</Sub> alkyl, or C<Sub>3-6</Sub> cycloalkyl; or R<Sub>1</Sub> and R<Sub>2</Sub> taken together with the nitrogen to which they are attached represent a pyrrolidino or piperidino ring;</ListItem><ListItem>R<Sub>6</Sub> and R<Sub>7</Sub> are independently hydrogen or C<Sub>1-6</Sub> alkyl; and</ListItem><ListItem>Ar is furan or thiophene attached at positions 2 and 5- or benzene attached at positions 1- and 3- or 1- and 4-, having useful pharmacological activity, processes for their preparation and their use.</ListItem></UnorderedLists></p> |
