PURPOSE:To keep the continuity of signals around the boundary of each section, by binary-coding a video element signals of the video elements at the head of each section other than the head section at least out of a plurality of sections split in the main scanning direction. CONSTITUTION:A video signal from a left channel sensor is inputted to a comparison amplifier 11L, voltage converter 10L and A/D converter 13 via an amplifier 9L. The comparison amplifier 11L compares the inputted video signal with the output of the voltage converter 10L to output a left channel binary signal. The video signal from the right channel sensor is inputted to a comparison amplifier 11R and an analog switch 17 via an amplifier 9R. On the other hand, an output obtained via a latch circuit 14 and a D/A converter 15 for the output of the A/D converter 13 is inputted to the analog switch 17. The output of the analog switch 17 is inputted to the comparison amplifier 11R via a voltage converter 10R. A right channel binary signal is outputted from the comparison amplifier 11R. |
