摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to effect the normal advance angle control without making excess advance angle when the lift is increased, by providing a controlling means intermovable with a lift varying means of a suction valve thereby the delay of angle of the ignition timing is effected when the lift is increased. CONSTITUTION:The controlling means 39 interrotable with a shaft 22 of a fulcrum point displacement mechanism 19 constituting the lift varying means of the suction valve 5 is arranged on the top of a rod 38 of a diaphragm apparatus 28 for controlling the advance angle of the ignition timing. The diaphragm apparatus 28 is formed with a negative pressure chamber 31 including first and second diaphragms 29, 30, and is connected via a negative pressure passage 32 with a suction passage 7. When the lift of the suction valve 5 is increased, the negative pressure acting in the negative pressure chamber 31 is increased, and the advance angle control becomes an excess advance angle, but as the controlling means 39 pushes down the rod 38, the second diaphragm 30 is also is pushed down to decrease the upper displacement of the first diaphragm 29, and a rotating plate 37 is rotated in the direction of delay angle by the amount corresponding thereto to cancel the excess advance angle.
