PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition having high transparency and surface gloss and excellent impact resistance and solvent resistance at low temperature and normal temperature, by compounding a methacrylate resin composed mainly of methyl methacrylate with a specific graft copolymer having multiple struc ture. CONSTITUTION:(A) A methacrylate resin produced by the homopolymerization of methyl methacrylate or the copolymerization of methyl methacrylate with other copolymerizable vinyl monomer, etc., is compound with (B) a multiple- structure graft copolymer obtained by polymerizing (B1) 20-200pts.wt. of a mixture composed of 80-100wt.% of methyl methacrylate and 0-20wt.% of other copolymerizable vinyl monomer, etc., in the presence of (B2) 100pts.wt. of a rubbery copolymer produced by the copolymerization of a mixture composed of 20-85wt.% of a macromer composed of an alkyl acrylate having a polymerizable functional group at one terminal, 5-25wt.% of a macromer composed of styrene, etc., having a polymerizable functional group at one terminal and 0.1-5wt.% of crosslinkable monomer, etc. The amount of the rubbery copolymer of the component B2 is 0.1-50wt.% in the whole composition. |
