A latch mechanism for controlling rotation of a vehicle seat back to a reclining position relative to a vehicle seat cushion in which a quadrant 24 is supported by the pivot pin 16 joining the cushion and back for rotation to both, and a link 84 is articulated to the quadrant at a point 27 radially spaced from the pivot pin. A pair of dogs 80, 82 which can be released by operation of a handle, enable the link 84 to be locked in an infinite number of axially spaced positions to provide infinite adjustment of the seat back. <IMAGE> |
