PURPOSE:To decrease the key-in delay of the data for the plasma display unit by securing the display of the screen alteration data prior to the data stored in the buffer when the screen alteration data is indicated. CONSTITUTION:The data is read from the stack corresponding to the value of output loop counter 52 in case the data to be read out to stack buffer 30 and then transferred to display memory 91. This data is then transferred to screen buffer 92 corresponding to the full screen of plasma display unit 70 in 1:1. Furthermore, flag 54 or 55 is pulled down in case the data is decided at data decision part 82 as the full screen display or full screen erasion. And thus only the renewal is given for screen buffer 92, and no data is transferred to unit 70. Accordingly, the renewal is given only to the screen buffer corresponding to the full screen of the display unit against the data which is memorized in the stack buffer prior to the full screen display data, and no actual display is given to the display unit. As a result, the reading speed is increased to avoid the key-in delay. |
