Computer controlled film data card replacement device - uses storage element frame and replacement arm with sensing switch

A modified device is used for storage and replacement of film cards. It has a storage frame on which are arranged several sections for cards and which is movable relative to an arm for element replacement. It is a complete and practical system for rapid display of image data stored on microfilm or other film storage media and to be controlled by signals generated in a computer. The arm has a switch sensing a projection on each element. The condition of the switch determines whether the arm grips the element or repeats its search.
