PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion cell with high output and long life. SOLUTION: In the cylinder-shaped lithium ion cell, a positive electrode, made of an aluminum foil on which, a positive electrode active material mixture including lithium manganate as an active material is coated evenly and homogeneously, and a negative electrode, made of a rolled copper foil on which, a negative electrode active material mixture including amorphous carbon as a negative electrode active material is coated evenly and homogeneously, are arranged in a coiled state interposing a separator. The thickness of the positive electrode active material mixture layer on both side of the aluminum foil xp is 200 μm<=xp<=300 μm, and bp, shown by the porosity of the positive electrode active material mixture layer; yp=0.05xp+bp, is 15<=bp<=20, and the thickness of the negative electrode active material mixture layer on both side of the roller copper foil xn 140 μm<=xn<=280 μm, and bn, shown by the porosity of the negative electrode active material mixture layer; yn=0.05xn+bn, is 25<=bn<=30. |
