The base element comprises a lower plate (1), an upper plate (2) located at a distance (f) above and parallel to the lower plate, and half-shell form spring damping elements (3) located between the lower and upper plate and connected to them. The spring damping elements are located adjacent to the side edges (10,11) of the lower and upper plates, and curve concavely outwards in relation to them. The spring elements have a semi-cylindrical section (4) and flange faces (5,6) projecting from it and which are connected respectively to the facing inner sides (7,8) of the plates.
