PURPOSE:To enhance productivity and to obtain a sharp image by mixing a carrier powder having an electric charge regulating agent on the surface with core particles made mainly of a thermoplastic resin in specified conditions by applying mechanical stress, and burying the carrier powder partially into the surface of each core particle. CONSTITUTION:The core particles A each having an average particle diameter of 1-15mum and made mainly of a thermoplastic resin are mixed with the carrier particles C having an average particle diameter of 0.05-2.0mum, preferably, 0.1-2.0mum and the charge controller B on the surface by applying mechanical stress under conditions forming an average particle diameter of 1-20mum and at least one part of each carrier particle C is buried into the surface of each core particle A to form a toner, thus permitting productivity to be enhanced, and a sharp and fog-free image to be obtained. |
