Slide shoe for edge banding machine

The device is for gluing an edging strip to esp. chip and fibre board panels. The slide shoe (1) has a contact pressure surface (2). The longitudinal sections of the pressure surface extending in sliding direction (5), are curved outwards across their full widths. The contact pressure surface consists of a front and a rear section (3, 4). Both have a straight longitudinal section, and enclose an obtuse angle. The cross section of the surface at right angles to the sliding direction is adapted to the profile of the edge to be covered. The slide shoe is held in a holder, and is turnable at right angles to the sliding direction.
